We serve a diverse client portfolio from 3 locations, ranging from national to international clients, both profit and non-profit. With us, professionalism goes hand in hand with an informal and friendly work environment. Moreover, we regularly organize fun company outings to strengthen the team spirit. The Audit Company is an accounting firm with a personal approach and a focus on high quality. We have a focus on assurance engagements and are an ‘audit only’ firm. In recent years we have grown and we expect to continue to grow in the future. This of course brings additional opportunities for our employees.
What kind of clients and assignments do you have?
We have a very diverse client portfolio, in a variety of different industries and typologies, both profit and non-profit. We also have several international clients with offices abroad. In fact, we have a lot of experience from the past with COS 600 assignments involving local accountants with holdings abroad.
This diversity is not only great fun but also important to (continue to) develop as an all round professional.
What makes The Audit Company different from other audit firms?
We start from our own story and it is therefore difficult to compare us to other firms. We stand for professionalism and quality combined with personal commitment and collegiality. We find a pleasant working atmosphere very important without political games. We find it important that everyone feels safe and free to share their opinion. And all within normal working hours.
The question is indeed whether this is truly unique, but we understand from new employees and applicants that this is not the case everywhere.
Do auditors travel often for work?
For some clients, we use the work of local accountants.
We will then in most cases conduct an on-site file review with these local accountants. For this reason, we regularly have colleagues traveling who enjoy being involved in such assignments.
What advancement opportunities are available within your organization?
The Audit Company is an organization that has grown in recent years and expects to continue growing in the coming years. This growth naturally also brings many opportunities for our employees to grow. In addition, we evaluate our employees based on effort and actual performance. We do not use (external) assessment committees, extensive business cases and presentations.

Can I also take the Practical Training to become an accountant with you?
Yes you certainly can with us. Specifically with our diverse client portfolio, we can offer a very interesting practical training where the trainee can be trained to become an all round accountant. With us, you don’t have to specialize in a particular industry. Currently there are several colleagues following this Practical Training and we expect more colleagues soon. This also allows the colleagues to pull together and help each other further, because the course and the ELO (Electronic Learning Environment) is not always clear.
